Westgate Mall Welcomes The Little Free Library

BROCKTON, MASSACHUSETTS (December 2020) – Westgate Mall has partnered with the Brockton Library Foundation to welcome The Little Free Library. Westgate Mall visitors are encouraged to take a book from the selection within the library stand located near Burlington. The Little Free Library also accepts books from those who may want to donate. The Brockton Library Foundation supervises The Little Free Library ensuring a constant stream of volumes.

The Brockton Library Foundation (BLF) was founded in 1992 by a World War II fighter pilot who wanted to keep the library open after difficult financial times. Since the Foundation’s founding, volunteers have raised over a million dollars and helped pay for an addition to the historic main library, done repairs to both branches, added equipment, computers and more. The Brockton library offers a wide array of programs for children and adults, including English as a second language.
