Westgate Mall in Brockton Celebrates Read Across America Day & Dr. Seuss’ Birthday - Wednesday, March 2 at 8:30am

Complimentary Breakfast for Attending Children and Parents

BROCKTON, MA (February 23, 2016) – In honor of Read Across America Day and Dr. Seuss’ Birthday, Westgate Mall (www.shopatwestgatemall.com) in Brockton will host a special children’s activity day Wednesday, March 2 from 8:30am to 10:30am at the International House of Pancakes (IHOP) located at the mall. IHOP will provide each attending child and parent breakfast.

The Coordinated Family & Community Engagement of Brockton (CFCE) will plan a number of engaging activities focused on Dr. Seuss and family literacy at the event. Also in attendance will be “Raising A Reader MA”, an organization that supports literacy efforts across the city of Brockton via parent workshops, technical assistance and in-class programs in early childhood centers.
